Halloween is over and that means the countdown to Bonfire night begins. If your like us and love Guy Fawkes night then this is a highlight of the Autumn season. Theres nothing better than rugging up warm and watching a great fireworks display or burning bonfire.
Each year the Bonfire events in Leicestershire get better and better so I thought I would put together a list of the best events!
Conkers Firework Display – 4th November
Once again Conkers will play host to one of the largest fireworks in the Midlands. Entry is from 5pm with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Entry costs £8 per adult and £5 per child.
Cattows Farm 360° Firework Display – 4th November
Cattows Farm will host the UKs only 360 degree fireworks display. Gates open at 2.30pm and the fireworks start at 8pm. There will be live entertainment, food and drinks, stalls and much more.

Battlefield Line Bonfire night spectacular – 4th November
Gigantic bonfire and spectacular firework display. Catch the train from Shackerstone at 6.30pm or 6.50pm and ride to Market Bosworth station. Train returns at 8.15pm. Refreshments will be available. Entry costs – Adults £11, concession £9, children £6 (3-15). Entry at Market Bosworth – Adults £5, concession/child £3.
Great Central Railway Bonfire Night – Friday 3rd November
On the 3rd November, Quorn and Woodhouse station is the best place to be! Fantastic firework display, refreshments and childrens rides. It will be a magical night out for the whole family. You can arrive at the gate or ride in heritage style from Loughborough, Rothley or Leicester North stations. See website for full details and tickets.
Twinlakes Rock n Roll Fireworks – 4th November
Spectacular fireworks festival event that will dazzle and delight! Toddler mini display 6.30pm, main display 7pm. Tickets are available online.
Abbey Park Firework and Bonfire night – 4th November
Be dazzled by Leicesters biggest bonfire and firework display at the citys offical celebration. The fun starts at 5pm. Book online to save!
Fireworks display at Broomleys Cricket Club– 4th November
Broomleys Cricket Club host their annual Fireworks night. Gates open at 6.30pm. Entry costs – £5 per adult, children under 16 go free when accompanied by an adult.
Ibstock Town Cricket Club Fireworks display – 4th November
Large firework display. Food and drinks will be on offer. Gates on at 7.00pm. Entry costs – £3.50 per adults, Children under 16 go free. Sparklers are not to be used by children under 5. Please note that there is no parking onsite.
Leicester Racecourse Pennies for Guy – 4th November
Spectacular fireworks display, bonfire and fun fair at Leicester racecourse. There will be stalls available to purchase food and drinks. Gates open at 5pm. This event supports the wonderful work of Rainbows Hospice. Tickets prices vary place see their website for details.
